Rustic Chandelier
It seems like everywhere one looks these days, they will see some sort of rustic chandelier. There are many
things they should consider when choosing the right antler light fixture.
One of the most important aspects of choosing your rustic chandelier is size. A rustic chandelier is designed as
an integral part of not only your lighting function, but also a floating décor. If you choose a design that
is too large it will overpower your room and too small will look awkward. Size and shape of your furniture
you will be placing in the room DOES make a difference on the rustic chandelier that you choose.
If you chandelier is to go above a dining room table that is rectangular, a circular chandelier will look out of place. Many of today's rustic chandelier makers and companies will forget to ask you these important questions and are just happy to sell you what they have in stock. Just like any piece of furniture, just because a rustic chandelier looks good in the showroom or on the computer does NOT mean it will look good in every particular space. Your rustic chandelier should be custom made for space and the furniture in the room. Consider the dimensions of the room, other lighting, height of the ceiling, other furniture, and what the room's main function is. These are all aspects we would be happy to consult with you about prior to creating your piece. Some other things to consider is the size of the doorways in your house getting to the room. How terrible would it be to order a large custom rustic chandelier and not be able to get it in the door? Some very large custom pieces need to be built or assembled on site and that is something you will need to consider when choosing a company to work with. We have traveled all over the country and hand-delivered special, extra large chandeliers that need to be assembled on site.
